Flashback to ZCUT #2

Alright, so to display my in-depth results on this workout I'm going to put up my information (time, calories, HR) from today and then copy/paste from my previous blog from when I first did ZCUT #2 so you guys don't have to put much effort in to seeing my progress (if you are interested ;D ).

Today's ZCUT #2 Results:

Duration - 41:52 (min:sec)
Calories - 413
Average HR -155
Maximum - 178
In Zone - 24:50 (min:sec)

10 prisoner get ups
20 sumo squat jumps
30 side lunge jumps
40 skaters
50 pendulums [stayed with her until this point, rested and knocked out the 50]
60 high-knee jumps to plank [did 5 at a time until 20, then started knocking them out 10 at a time]
70 plyo jumps [broke it down to 30 - 20 - 15 - 5]

*The first time I ever did this workout my results were:

Duration - 46:24 (min:sec)
Calories - 460
Average HR -154
Maximum - 180
In Zone - 28:14 (min:sec)

10 prisoner get ups
20 sumo squat jumps [stayed with her until 10 in]
30 side lunge jumps
40 skaters
50 pendulums [stayed with her again until this point, rested and knocked out the 50]
60 high-knee jumps to plank [death was imminent lol!]
70 plyo jumps [30 then 40]


So, there you have it! I only beat my time by 5 minutes but it's a better time and that makes me happy! Also, I'm glad I broke this workout down for everyone (including myself) in my blog because I got to see how I changed in respect to keeping up with her and how I felt about the workout. I still thought the 60 high-knee jumps to plank was ridiculously hard but I definitely feel like I had a better handle on it this time.

Anyways, here it is, the middle of week 3! I am gunning to see the taping and scale results, as per the usual. My diet has been pretty good. Yesterday I was a bit munchy-feeling at night but I think I curbed it enough. If I did go over (I'm not sure) it was only by 100 or so calories and I've maybe done that twice this week. Especially when I head out on bike rides with my husband and son I tend to be hungrier in the evenings. Either way, two more workout days then it is time for my weigh in and tape!

Hope everyone is having a good, active day. It can be hard to stay in a positive mood here sometimes because April showers are definitely setting in. It is another cloudy day today but I didn't let it stop me and if it is cloudy where you are, don't let it stop you! Get up, get active, and put on a smile!

    yeah then it'll be just about maintaining so less exercise and just eating right.

    Thank you! I'm trying ridiculously hard... I'm glad I've started dedicating myself to this now because I have a feeling when I get super busy in the Fall that this will be a lot harder on me to keep up (I start Nursing School then)! Hopefully, by then, I'll be down to my goal weight though :D
