Changing Weigh in Day from Monday to Friday

I've been following Weight Watchers with moderate success for the past two weeks. My first week, I lost 3 pounds, and in my second I gained back 1.

In the past, I've always been able to eat my weekly allowance points without it causing me to gain weight. However, I used to attend Tuesday night meetings. That gave me enough time to recover if I ate out over the weekend- simply because eating too many weekly points too soon before a weigh-in can cause me to gain weight. (Sodium doesn't necessarily cause me to gain weight though).

However, I also saved the majority of my weekly points for after my meeting. I ate the remainder of my weeklies and most of my activity points on Tuesday night. My weekly points reset on Wednesdays.

Since rejoining online, I've been weighing in on Mondays even though the days I'm more likely to eat out and/or use the majority of my weeklies are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So, it makes more sense to have my weigh in further away from my larger point days.

The one concern people have brought up on WW is that I might be more inclined to overdo it on the weekends which might either lead me to stall or cause me to abandon my efforts for the rest of the week because I have no weekly points left. However, I'm also prone to hoarding my weekly points because I might need them later on, so I'm hoping that will help balance things out.

So, what do you think? When do you weigh in each week?

    If that's what works for you then change it. I find that weighing in everyday helps me with accountability.

    It sounds like you're trying to game the system; ask yourself this. How does changing your weigh in day help you reach your goal? Are you just trying to play the numbers to allow yourself to overeat more often, setting yourself up for an unhealthy pattern of overeating and trying to overcompensate?

    I have been weighing in on Saturdays mostly this last few months. It is my relaxed slow srart morning aoit works well for me

    I've switched from all days -- I used to think weighing on Mondays helped to keep me more accountable over the weekends, but then I found my lowest weight was still usually Tuesday or Wednesdays. Now my weigh in day (or me-day as I'm fond of calling it), is on Saturdays.

    I weigh in the morning after my 2nd weekly fast day. Seems to be working well for me :)

    My weigh in is on Tuesday mornings. I tend to do really well on the weekends because I'm home and plan better. It's during the week when super busy that I don't always do as well in the evenings. I always eat my weekly points and about half of my AP's, but I'm very active. If I don't eat them, my weight stalls or I gain slightly.

I weigh in on Wednesday's at noon and tend to indulge on thursday's such as lunch
with friends.WW is an excellent programme I find the meetings most helpful.
