Diet Wagon Trying To Bump Me Off!

Back on the diet-wagon but hard to hold on. Have not been able to do strenuous weight exercises or upper body aerobics due to a shoulder injury. But prior to shoulder injury other health obstacles started in Feb. when I hurt my lower back and could hardly get around for 3 weeks. Then on the cusp of healing in Mar. I caught a bad cold that wiped me out for 3 weeks. I have managed to drop 21 lbs. since Jan 1st. despite not being able to get in some aggressive exercise. Lately, my exercise consist of getting ready for Spring gardening. The grass is growing so fast it needs mowing once or twice a week. I guess that will teach me to fertilize!
I am excited for May it is my annual Run For The Wall 6000+ mile motorcycle road-trip . Riding burns 2.8 Cal/Min. I will burn at least 480 Cal/day that equates to 8 hrs moving time in the saddle. Takes about 14 hours and 700 miles to acquire those GOLDEN 480 Cal. I generally lose around 8 to 10 lbs by the time my trip is completed.

    I'm installing seat belts AND handles on my wagon! It's easier to stay in the wagon then it is to climb back in once you've been bumped off! Hang on Chuck!

    I think we need to put handles on the wagon. Sounds like a fun trip. I certainly did not know you could but calories cycle riding. We will get there.

    I'm suprised you're doing Run for the Wall this year as it takes so much physically. Isn't this weather wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Just a helpful suggestion if you are having a hard time.....track every day till you feel is amazing that when I am in a bad place if I write everything down I eat even if I am not careful I am amazed, shocked and it shifts me back into a place where seeing how I am sabataging my dreams and efforts I slowly ease into behaving myself.

Hope this works for you....after getting calories in order then you naturally start looking at the fats and carbs and salt and start eating healthier too....well that worked for me hopefull it will help you to....Good Luck
