Well now, there was a good long stretch there where all this fitness and tracking were really a struggle! For many weeks there I had been limping along (figuratively speaking;) trying to get in some kind of work out, but mostly begrudgingly, and feeling stressed and strapped for time. And as far as food was concerned, I felt a strong resistance to any sort of weighing, measuring, counting, planning, etc. Throughout that period, I'm pleased to note that I did keep up the effort, Herculean though it was, and mostly maintained, but at the end there I gained back a few hard lost pounds (which I have since shed, and then some!) I'd like to trace it back to it's roots (right about the time I caught a lingering cold virus, and then my computer...I mean my main Spark connection!...caught a special virus of its own...) because I'd like to think I could circumvent that sort of setback spiral if I can spot it coming. Right now though, I'm back in my groove! My sweetiepea reminded me one day about a wii fitness game (EA Sports ACTIVE Personal Trainer) which we had not sought out, but somehow acquired, and I decided to give it a whirl. And that was the start of my most recent 30 day challenge! Then my sweet love found a great deal on a FitBit which I've been eyeing for awhile and that removed my last barrier to tracking. Now I let the fit bit track my fitness and I'm back to tracking meals. And loving it!! :0)
