More lifelong learning

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

I will accompany my husband to his training on the use of insulin pens and his devices to measure blood sugar. I will be helping him use insulin correctly and do the documentation. I will also attend any other trainings. It is good to be his support person.

We were able to cut back on medications with his dialysis. We did stabilize his solution requirements and have the edema under control. He gets his epogen and ferahyme as needed.

I am hopeful that he will be more comfortable, be less lightheaded, and able to have more spark in his life. Right now he makes a great zombie!

Ugh, I hope he is, too. I hate being light headed. Great job on keeping on top of everything and helping him so much.
