WebLog: Whiskey, Going to bed Hungry, and Snacks

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

I have been around the Internet enough to remember when a blog was not an on-line diary, but an actual log of places visited on the web --- a weblog. I did a little interesting reading today.

Whiskey -- I knew it was good for you. From Greatist.com

People worry a lot about eating in the evening. Lots worry that snacking after 9:00 (or 8:00 or 7:00) PM is somehow processed by the body differently. (Hint: it is not; in the definition of a calorie, there is no time component, much less a time of day component.) But it gets even more interesting. Going to bed hungry may not be all that good for you anyway.
