April 24 Update

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

I am happy to say that my friend is out of Intensive Care. She is breathing on her own but is in a lot of pain. Because of all the tubes, etc she has to be fed but food doesn't taste very good to her. I am going to try to find a way to make and freeze tasty and nourishing meals for her. Right now everything has to be pureed and that is totally gross. She was enjoying popsicles so that is what I would like to try. Maybe frozen smoothies would be tasty for her. Any and all ideas appreciated!!

My husband has finally finished all the sanding on the drywall. Tomorrow I will start to do a thorough cleaning in every room to get rid of all the dust. (Lots of exercise for me) He has done a great job and I know it will be amazing when done.
I look forward to not having to clean up a lot of dust to cook our meals.
