Whoohoo, now I've lost 4lbs, and I'm on top of the world! Here's what I'm doing:
-Walking daily; this included jogging up the stairs at home!
-Watching my portions; I was mindful of what I ate and how much. If I had one serving of carbs/hi-cal food and was still hungry, I would find something healthy to fulfill. This did NOT mean depriving myself, but just being mindful that if I wanted to splurge on the cals, I would have to do extra exercise to balance out.
-Setting reasonable goals; my weight loss goal is -1lb/week, my walking goal is 5mi/week. Not only am I achieving the weight loss goal, but I'm also at 4.5 miles, after only 3 days! Next week, I'm upping the goal to 8mi/week, and eventually 10mi/week. Let's see how this week ends!
