Well, it was a quiet few months over the winter. A little unattractive weight gain went with it, but I was able to shrug it off early this spring, with a re-commitment to my gym routine. And my husband, who wanted to run in our town's half marathon. So, on his long slow run days, I run with him to his half way point, where we've left my bicycle. Then I cycle on back home while he keeps running. He still seems insane to me, but I'm so pleased that I can run (er, shuffle, I'm super slow!) my way to the six mile mark!
My weight seems to be coming off little by little. I'm wearing a jacket to work today that I wouldn't have worn out of the house earlier this year! Our bathroom scale is broken, so I will buy a new one after our race this weekend.
Progress. It's a good thing!
