I'm at my wits end

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

All I ask is to be left alone for 22 minutes so I can workout to the PBS show Classical Stretch. We can't record it and I can't afford the dvd's. I have one shot to exercise. Why would my husband want to let his son girlfriend and grandson in while I'm about to start? It involves getting all three dogs outside because they are afraid of our dogs. Of course he can't get them out without my help. They were just dropping the son off so he could go to work with Dad. Why would he want to do that to me? And then cause a scene that I don't want to see them and slam the door in my face when I'm trying to say hi and speak for a second before the show is too far in. My doctor wonders why my blood pressure is erratic, my mother worries about the stress in my life and I'm pretty angry the state my life is in now.

Well one can try to do meditation with cats intertwining and talking to one, and getting into fisticuffs on my lap. (I have two that sit on their hind legs and bat at each other, they look like prizefighters in the ring.) Only it's when I need my 15 minutes of peace.
No matter what you do, there is always something.

The phone always seems to ring when I am using my Wii. Frustrating but I generally pause it and finish later.

Tough break emoticon . I too will find my hubby an kids thwarting my work-out plans, but one of the things I realized that I was not communicating my needs to them. Now, I let them know that I am planning to use the treadmill at a certain time for x amount of minutes and they give me my space and change their plans. I was driving myself and them crazy assuming they could read my mind. Good luck with grabbing that 22 minutes!
