Thanks for the hugs and encouragment. I am very cautiously optimistic. The first affected lamb is moderately improved as is the acutely ill one. Thumb continues to be well. All have good appetites. I am using a bottle of clindamycin and will go to injectable penicillin when that runs out. Pcn crosses the cellular barrier when tissue is compromised whereas a preventitive it is not so useful. I remember that from an esteemed mentor in early years...tried and true are not necessarily passe...just not money makers for the drug companies.
I am out today with dear mther getting her stuff done..sun is up and cool out. emoticon
