Today will probably be a two blog day, because yesterday I didn't blog. I just ran out of time, which is a rare thing for me. I rarely even read any manga (japanese graphiv novels) yesterday (shock!).
I woke up on the late side, and it took a while to get around to moving. It wasn't until 12:15 that I was able leave the house for all those errands I needed to run. I first went to the UPS store to drop off our old ATT cable boxes and wireless modem. Then on my way back home, I stopped at my favorite local running store for some new socks. I love them too. They are super tight around the arches, and thin that I won't have an issues during summer. I bought three pairs because they were only 13 dollars, and well, I don't have any good socks anymore. Seriously, though, awesome-sause socks (and yes I wore them yesterday a bit). Then I went to HEB, our local grocery store for some odds and ends. I picked up my MooTopia, both the chocolate and the fat free kind, because I have been a little high on fat lately. I also got a chocolate bar (it's okay, I have been really good with not eating too much chocolate), some conditioner (because I forgot to get it on Sunday, stupid social anxiety). And of course a crap ton of sesame sticks. Not for me of course. For my dad. We bought him a bag and he went through it in less than two days, so I just kept filling the bag up from the bulk section. Hopefully it will last him through the week.
I came back home and it was probably around 1:30 or 2:00 pm by that time. I basically did Jillian Michael's Killer Abs workout. I was kinda pooped after that. But I did remember to do my squats. By the time I was done with all 170 squats, I decided to eat lunch (I ate breakfast at noon, so I was okay). I finished with some kitchen duties, like unloading and reloading the dishwasher, and ate lunch. Then it was 4:30 and I decided to take my shower. I started hearing a strange noise and soon realized, the lawn guys are actually here mowing our lawn.
You see, my dad called several different places trying to get someone, anyone to mow the lawn. And finally someone came out to do it yesterday. By the time I got out of the shower, my dad was home and the lawn crew was almost done. We done have much to mow, so it was a quick job. That was pretty much my Tuesday.
I have decided that my current plan of action is going to have to be changed a bit. I can only handle one Jillian Michael workout at a day, so I am going to be focusing on my Ab workout. Because a good core is important for most other workouts. Plus with a strong core, I can focus on using the right muscles. Right now, my legs are like steel and I over compensate for them. My core is probably my weakest, and though I really suck at the video, I will get better. I just have to stick with it, not push and injure myself, and not let the fact that I suck get to me and stop.
After the core video I'll probably go to the Ripped In 30 video I got, but like I said, it will be a while before the core video is going to not be played. I feel like I should at least get through the entire workout for a week before moving up to the next workout, which means I am looks at 3 days a week for about 3 weeks until moving to the next advanced workout. And I know I should be focusing on my abs first, and then go running, but at the moment, all I am doing is trying to get stronger. I could have the best abs, but they won't look good until I can get rid of some of this fat. So I am going focus on fat loss primarily, as well as strength training, but not really super rip-y-ness.
So for today's schedule, I am going to do my 1:30 jog/3 min walk interval, my 180 squats, my abs, and my arms. I know it sounds like a lot, but it's not really. I know people who do more. After that I am going to try to work on the getting the breakfast area/kitchen clear. Then tomorrow work on my mom's room. Since nobody else is doing anything. They are just going to have to live with the choices I make for them. Gosh, I hate hate hate this.
