Life is truly a roller coaster, isn't it! Love the comments on yesterday's blog; found an outfit yesterday while shopping for my daughter's sandals (success!) and brought it home to try it out with different tops. Will decide if I will keep it or not, but I'm thinking yes. It's a long skirt that I can easily take in as I lose the weight
Last night was our meeting with the nurse from hospice. She was wonderful; such an amazing program. I have had positive experiences with hospice in the past; we were able to keep both of my parents at home during their final months with their assistance. Truly angels!
What we weren't expecting was to arrive and be greeted with the news that MIL had developed MRSA and was in isolation. I would have thought that a phone call would have been in order; seems like a few balls have been dropped in the past week, and trying to decide if we need to call attention to it or let things lie and focus on MIL.
As if that wasn't enough for one day, my dear friend Jeff called to tell me that his cancer had returned. 4 years into recovery; another battle begins. Please keep him and his family in your prayers; his brother passed away about 6 months ago and this latest news is just devastating for his family as well as Jeff.
I wish he didn't live so far away (Atlanta)
Today is my early shift at work, so I'm going to browse through a few of your blogs and then get moving! Will check in later!
