I set off for a conference at Kettering this morning. It's just gone 6am and I think I will set off in about an hour. Had a lovely snuggle with the little monster this morning. Ill have to put a pix up cos he is such a cute little puppy. And from here I can hear HRD still snoring gently.

Yesterday was a funny day with regards to food. I knew I was going to be out all all day so planned to pick up something on the way. It turned out to be quite carb loaded - although within my carb limits. I ended up with baked potato and beans (fortunately a very small serving from Asda!) and then quorn cottage pie and ratatouille for tea. All these carbs had a negative effect on my protein intake.

What was interesting is that the above is more like my normal intake in terms of nutritional balance. So it looks like I have always eaten an unbalanced diet. I always suspected it.

Now today will be a challenge because of the food at the conference. I have packed a salad but it may not work that way. Most veggie food at conferences is cheese and bread laden with deep fried oth bits. So we will just see how it goes as the lunch is always part of the network experience.

Might also have time for a 10 min meditation this morning as well.

And now. I'm in the right mind set in tms of food and tracking I need to put some effort into my water intake. And then the exercise...

I started on the water yesterday. Baby steps as they say.

My diet has always been heavy on the carbs, don't eat meat so it can be quite difficult to get enough protein.

Those quorn cottage pies are good aren't they. I went vegan fir a few months but got really expensive with the soya milk etc. So went back to being veggie.

    Hope the conference goes well.
