Hi! My name is Leilani. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.
. I started the Alternate Day Diet today. To make things a little easier for me, I started on an UP DAY. I'm a little nervous about tomorrow as I will be on a DOWN DAY and will only be able to consume no more than 600 calories. Which is not much at all! I plan to replace 2 meals with Slimfast Protein Shakes and a Baked sweet potato for dinner. It will put me right under 600 calories. I will also do my best to drink at least 8 glasses of water. Something that is very difficult for me.
My goal is to lose 31 lbs. That would put me at 145 lbs. I weighed myself yesterday and tipped the scale at 176. Errrrrrrrrrrr! It may not seem much, but keep in mind that I am ONLY 5'3. What's sad is that my boyfriend is 6'2 and weighs 7lbs less than me. Yikes!
I also plan to get back to the gym on my UP DAYS. I'm thinking maybe working out on DOWN DAYS may not be a good idea.
I don't know how long it's going to take to reach my goal, but I at least want to lose 20 lbs by summer. I'd be comfortable enough to wear a bathing suit to the beach! I feel like a total slob right now!!!!!!
