Seems that we waited all winter for the snow to arrive, and now we're really getting hammered. The two feet we'd gotten had melted almost completely - why, I was in SHORTS on Sunday, then we were hit with another six inches Monday. It was NOT fun digging my car out at the end of my Monday night class.
But, it's okay - we need the moisture so badly! I can hear the earth sucking in the water - hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
I've been weighing in with two neighbors every Saturday, going up and down, up and down. Getting old. The worst part was the scale that showed a different weight every time you stepped on it. We discovered that if you stepped on with just one foot, and the other in the air behind you, it would weigh you a pound and a half lighter!
So, since my house is the 'official' weigh-in location for the neighborhood now, I ordered a beam scale. The kind in the doctors office. Can I tell you what a geek I am - I 'm SO excited! Can't wait to get it. Had hoped it would come before our next weigh-in, but doesn't look like that'll happen. Ah well, something to look forward to.
Our Biggest Loser Team leader gave us a real 'talking to' this week. I hung my head in shame!
So, I've worked hard to be better. She challenged us to track every single bite and I've taken on that challenge. Every bite. And you know what - it's been helpful to know someone's watching.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the last few days will make a difference when I weigh-in for the team this week. I'm doin' my best...
