I had a really nice walk outside tonight. Turned out of the complex and just followed the sidewalks. If I had gotten home earlier, I probably would have ended up with a 90 minute walk - there was plenty of sidewalk left in the subdivision across from my complex. As it was, I was very happy that I was even able to walk around outside. There was an odd thing at the end - I had gotten back to my complex (requires a crossing of a street). I was standing under a street light checking my Fitbit and then started walking into the complex when a car turned in and slowed down next to me. This little old lady rolled her window down and she's all "You shouldn't be out in the dark, you were almost hit crossing the street". I just kind of looked at her and I replied "Ma'am, I looked both ways when crossing the street, there were no cars within 200 feet as I crossed" She then replied, "Well, you should be more careful" and then drove back to where her building was. I just shook my head and walked to my building. People - I was wearing a BRIGHT PINK SHIRT - and there were no cars within 200 feet of me - HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN HIT???? I guess she was just trying to be helpful, but I'm sorry, don't be ridiculous.
