Picking up the Pieces

Well once again life got in the way of diet and exercise. I started my exercise up a few days ago, and tonight I got an ear full from the trainer at the gym. LOL Nice to know I'm missed. I am trying to pick up the pieces and pull myself together. I need to get diet and exercise in order before next month because I am going to attempt to quit smoking.
Momentum and motivation are all that I search for and May is going to be a really busy month for me and it starts with a haircut sale oh joy. LOL I love cutting hair, but I can't stand those haircut sales.. LOL EWveryone have a joyous and momentum filled week!!!

    You should try '100 Days of Weight Loss.'

    It's a book and a journal (you print out the journal from the website) and it works with ANY diet plan. It's basically a motivational tool to help you stay on track. I'm doing that in combination with Eat To Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman and it's helpful.

    Another thing you can try is to join a challenge (or just make on for yourself). I did a 12 week challenge with my friends. We wanted to see who could lose the biggest % of body weight. I also set myself a weight loss goal for those 12 weeks. I met my own personal goal AND I won the challenge. The competition and the set time frame helped keep me motivated. It wasn't forever or until I give up, it was 12 weeks.

    i have looked in smokers lungs and they are not a pretty pink but a nasty sooty color. You are beautiful outside so please clean up your lungs whilst you are YOUNG enough to do it. emoticon emoticon emoticon
