Whew! My legs feel tired!

Yesterday I took a 6 mile walk. And today I walked for 4.5 miles and then did 25 minutes of jogging intervals to end up at 6 miles after looping my neighborhood four times.

I plugged it into the exercise tracker like I'm supposed to and for the first time in a long while, I am over 500 calories burned! I burned 537 calories! Woot!

I also mowed the yard, but it was with the riding lawnmower, so I don't think I can count that... I suppose I could count the mini-workout I got while pumping up the mower tires with a bicycle tire pump...

And I cleaned out the fridge and washed all the tupperware, but that really didn't take all that long and it wasn't very strenuous...

I did lug two large bags of library books to and from the library parking lot(and I parked in the back so I'd have farther to go)...

But it was a beautiful 80 Degree day here in the suburbs of Atlanta. A little bit of a breeze for most of the day helped keep me cool on my neighborhood laps. And the pollen is finally slowing down(thankfully!).

So after 2 days and 12 miles, my legs are feeling tired this evening... but after a good night's rest I think I will be fine.

    Great job with all the walking and putting jogging intervals into it! Think you can send some of your energy my way? I only did two miles yesterday.

    I love the Atlanta area! A good friend of mine lives in the city within walking distance of Piedmont Park. Whenever I visit her we walk from her apartment to the park, all around it and back. Enjoy the 80 degrees! It's about 40 here today where I'm at.
