Back again...

Ugh... I absolutely HATE being sick. Not only does it make you feel like crap, but it deters your workout routine!! I ended up with strep/tonsilitis and my throat was almost completely swollen shut. My boyfriend would hear me choking in my sleep because my throat was closed off. Not fun... Luckily I had some leftover Amoxicillin so I have been taking about 1000mg of that daily and it seemed to wipe the issue out. I had a sore throat for about 9 days, so I figured enough was enough. Doesn't help that I am in between insurance for my job, and wasn't about to go drop $300+ on an urgent care hospital visit. I know you aren't supposed to self medicate... but I was a CVT for 6 years and calculated enough dosages for animals, and it's the exact same way for humans (basically.) So... enough about that. Got back on track today- now that my appetite is back I started eating better again. Ordered my heart rate monitor this morning, and also signed up for Pole Fitness classes! I am one excited girl. Before I got sick, I def did notice a big inch drop, especially from my thighs. I could slide on my BKE jeans pretty easy again, but now after my sickness, they were a little tight again. GRRRRRR
