Well it's been a good week and a bad week, I guess we all have that sort of week on occasion. Let's start with the good. I have lost enough weight that I have been able to stop taking one of the blood pressure pills I was on. Still on one, but one is better than two. With the two my blood pressure was dropping too low and I was getting bad bouts of dizzy spells.
The bad news; I had a bad dizzy spell and ended up collapsing in my kitchen, and with the fall I ended up badly spraining my ankles. I am still in a bit of pain with them but I am finally able to get up off the couch. 5 days on the couch with my feet up has not been fun at all. And to add insult to injury, I gained 1.5 pounds. This was due mainly to not being able to move for so long, as well as having a husband that can't cook so he ended up bring home restaurant food to feed us while I wasn't able to cook. I would think that the pill I stopped might also be having an effect, it was a water pill, for removing excess water from your system, and now that it's gone I guess my system could be hanging onto a bit of water as well.
But I will continue to plug along, I am doing all the right things again, well still can't do my daily walk, but should be back to that in a couple of days. I am back to cooking so I am eating healthy again. I know I am doing the right things so I'll continue, with hopes that my body and the scale will start behaving a little better.
