hugs ... I agree, a church family might help ... you might have to just blurt out to someone, " would just listen to my heart?"

Somedays I feel like I need to just put a sign around my neck ..."please listen to what I need to say...not what you want to hear or think i should say!"

Don't give up ... keep trying!

Find a church in your area .. I did and it helped me so much I cannot even tell you. Most people have wonderful kind and caring hearts .. and want to listen and help. Just reach out. Church was an answer for me

I know what you mean. We spend so much of our lives being and doing what others want us to be and do in order to make them happy and love us. But deep down inside, its not who we really are. I wish I had the right words to help you. All I can say is "I truly understand".

Hang in there, what others think matters not, only what the Father sees is important.

Do they have support meetings there? I hope you find something. It is not good to feel closed off from the world. Many churches have groups and they usually have folks in different stages of recovery that will help with transport. Make a few calls emoticon

I am sorry that you haven't found someone you can talk to - I know how difficult that can be. Don't give up on finding a soul mate with whom you can share your TRUE feelings.

That's a terrible way to live. I'm not sure why you are doing it. I am sure you have a rationale and I would imagine it includes fear of loss. Think of who in your world would be the most likely to be accepting of who you really are and reveal yourself a little bit, see how it goes, experiment with it a little and be prepared for it to not necessarily go as you expected - good or bad. Evaluate your reaction and consider all possibilities including the possibilities that you may be expecting too much. Repeat when the opportunity arises. Ease people into it. It'll all work out.

Do you belong to a church? When I was where you are, I just took my time, helped those that had less than me(not too many of them left anymore) and somebody actually reached out to me.. I was shocked.. but took the chance and accepted their friendship.. it built from there,,
