It takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing, 8 weeks for your friends to notice, and 12 for the rest of the world..DONT QUIT...
This is what I must chant everyday as I take on the Jamie Eason transformation challenge. What I love about this program is that it's very focused on weight training which is my favorite. One drawback is that I'm still in a life limbo where I don't have a permanent residence or a permanent gym. This may call for some desperate measures but man I am DETERMINED.
I tried on my summer pants from last summer. They do fit better than they did this time last year, but they are definitely tighter than they were at the end of the summer. The dreaded creeping of the weight...It's happening and I must fight back. The weather is not cooperating, and I have no where to walk so... I must mooch the gym. I'll get the free 14 guest pass at the YMCA (thank you parents) and then, I will make my Alaskan cruise adventure (Mid-late May) a weight lifting adventure (thank you ship fitness center). Then I will just take a gamble and assume that any gym in Las Vegas (my new home as of June) will be worth the trip even though my housing isn't solid... It's only appropriate to take a gamble when living in Vegas!!
It's only 12 weeks, totally doable! Must be strong. Food cannot win! I am better than cookies and pizza! They are not worth the discomfort I feel in my tight pants...FIGHTING!!
