Oh, motivation, THERE YOU WERE!

I feel extra good.

Not because of my weigh-in this morning - well it sure did help. I'm down to 173 pounds, which is 1.4 pounds lighter than two weeks ago. Even after the crazy weekend I had I still managed to lose weight, which is SUPER GOOD.

About that weekend. I was able to do my strenght training three times last week - planned Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I even got up at 6 AM Friday morning to do it. First time in 2013 getting up in the morning for training purposes! Late but awesome, lol. I thought I'd lost that ability forever, but there was proof I could do it. And I wasn't that tired at work. In fact I felt better (though my limbs were sore XD).

Friday I took the afternoon off at job, rushed home, finished my luggage, ate dinner, washed the dishes and left with the boyfriend. We were going to Hull/Ottawa to see his sister. It was supposed to be a 4,5 hours ride but it ended up taking an extra hour because of traffic, the worst part being on the island of Montreal where we were really stuck. And it was only 3:30 PM. I'm glad we weren't there for the rush hour ;P in an hour we only got 38 kms done LOL!

But my Fit did reach its 10000th kilometer. In Montreal, stuck in traffic. Hahaha. My baby's growing old and strong ;P

So we arrived in Hull after a really bad fight - I get cranky in traffic, I was tired and we both were on the nerves so it just burst from Montreal to Hull - but I calmed down quickly. We sat around until we left to the brewery for supper, we had a reservation at 9 PM. It's called Les Brasseurs du Temps (The Time Brewers) and it was super cool. I had pasta and... a lot of beer. LOL I had a pint and then what they call the Clock, it's 12 glasses of all their beers, which were delicious for the most part. Then we got back to his sister's apartment and Nic was pretty drunk, I was only a little. We went to sleep pretty quick.

Didn't sleep a lot - only 6 hours and I couldn't go back to sleep - and we didn't do a lot that day. IT was really windy, rainy and cold (freezing) outside. Also it was 420 and Ottawa was full of potheads, which annoyed me. We walked around there a little after picking up Nic's brother at the bus station (he came from Montreal). We went back home in the afternoon because Nic wasn't feeling too well and it wasn't a good day to be outside anyway. We ate at an awesome vegetarian place that I really fell in love with - so cheap and so delicious - then we wanted to play lasertag (lol) but it was full until 10:40 PM, so we spent the evening at home watching the hockey game and having a beer.

Sunday we ate at Denny's because I love this place too much for my own good - thank GOD we don't have any in Quebec. The closest one is where we went in Ottawa, and I won't drive 5 hours all the time just for a restaurant, so it's good for me LOL. We left after that huge breakfast. The road home went very well, we dropped Nic's brother in Montreal and we got home around 5:30 PM. We didn't eat anything until 8 PM - and it was only chips. Uh.

So it was not a good weekend food-wise but I knew that in advance so I didn't feel that bad. I felt like treating myself to that since it was a little vacation. But now that I'm back, I'm also back on track. Yesterday I got my strenght training done in the evening. This morning I was SUPPOSED to get up early and do my first jog of the year - but I went back to sleep. UGH! Where is that motivation that I had last week? ;P the problem is that when I wake up at 6 AM, I just shut the alarm clock and go back to sleep because my brain is only half there and it's just so easy to go back to sleep without thinking about anything.

So the jog is going to be tonight. It HAS to. It's too gorgeous outside, and I've felt like running for a couple weeks now. So after picking up my lease with my future roommate, I'm gonna go jog. I'll keep it to a 3.5 kms run since it's been almost 6 months without running... wow, already?! No wonder I'm in such a rush XD
