So this morning I stepped on the scale and was delighted to see an even 200 lbs. I've had a hell of a time over the last month to get into my grove, but I finally figured out a routine that works for me. I'm running every day, but still have a "rest day" which consists of a very very slow run for 15 minutes. I'm strange like that, for some reason if I take an actual rest day, I end up taking 2... then 3... then 4. It just doesn't work for me. So by doing a slow run, I'm keeping a running streak going. As of today, I've ran 10 days in a row.

I have't been under 200 lbs since last fall. Since I've been on my running streak, I've noticed it keeps me eating a lot healthier now too. I've been pretty loyal to tracking my food on SP as well, which of course helps me out a great deal.

It's still pretty cold here, so my running has taken place in my basement... I really can't wait til it warms up and all the ice is gone. I have a few friends who are running outside right now, but for me it just doesn't seem worth it. If I slipped on a patch of ice and injured myself, my training could be done for the summer. Like I said, it doesn't seem worth it.

    You are so-o right on that! With our N. Michigan winters i dont walk outside at all cause one slip i could end up like my friend who has been laid up for weeks! I do my excercise inside but now its getting better here and can walk in the woods again Thank God! Blessings , Bonnie
