Progress is slow but steady- Halleluiah

TOday if the scale is not lying, I lost two more pounds and have gone below where I have seemed to plateau! Sunday Hubby and I walked to church- a three mile hike both ways. I am hoping I can continue as my back pain seems to be coming back. Walking in the water at the aquatic center doesn't do that. No pain later. Having broken my back and neck yrs ago... I am hoping I can continue...

For now, I am happy. I am moving. Losing weight. It feels good.

Thanks to all the encouragers who keep cheering me on. You guys are so incredibly positive and helpful. Thank you!

    You need to do what works for you. Walking to church with hubby is nice but NOT if it hurts your back too much. Walking in the water is great and maybe you can take some shorter walks and build up to another walk to church. Sorry you are in pain.

    With every pound lost, the walking will get easier, but you need to listen to your body's signals and not overdo. Take care!

    emoticon That's great! Just remember that sometimes you have to work up to that 6 mile roundtrip hike!! I've done a 5K, but never 6 miles in one day! Sounds like you are doing great. Keep up the hard will pay off! Hugs, jeannie
