Small Stone of the Week - April 23 - 27, 2013

Yes, I know. It's a short week.

This week I want to:
emoticon Get my income taxes done
emoticon Keep applying for and find work
emoticon Run. At least two training days this week.
emoticon Dance. Start to get my routines together and practice. At least twice
emoticon Hubby wants a dance lesson on Friday too.
emoticon Take my supplements every day
emoticon Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day.

This is a HUGE list. I need to stay focused and on track if I'm going to reach all of these goals this week. I decided to set the bar high this week. I usually set it lower, and then often fail to reach it. I end up procrastinating and just not getting it done. To reach these goals this week, I will need to stay focused. Do some every day. Be constantly aware of it. Maybe that'll help me keep focused and on track.

Despite the fact I didn't reach every goal, I still had a great week. I did a couple of things NOT on this list.

I actually made it to the gym TWICE last week. Yep. You read that right. Twice.

I also started my 12 week program. I am going to give it my all for 12 weeks. I won't let setbacks get to me in these 12 weeks. After the 12 weeks are up, if I don't feel I've made any progress, then I'll have to re-evaluate what I'm doing. Until then, I am going to plug away. Track my foods. Drink lots of water. Take Visi every day. And exercise. Really push the calories out. See if I can see progress over time.

So overall I'd say last week was a success. I didn't get my taxes done. I have to do them tomorrow. I didn't get a full training run in, but I did go running twice and walked as far one day. So I'm counting it. My calorie burn/heart rate was right up there with a training run. I didn't get my personal dance practice in. I'm going to start working on that too.

I'm feeling it was a successful short week. I guess it's time to lay out my next small stone soon
