What a beautiful day yesterday was! The sun was shining bright, and after so many gloomy days with flooding, horrible news on the tv and a new stomach flu hitting many, the warmth of the sun seemed to lift everyone's spirit and renewed their faith that we may actually see a bit of Spring here in the Midwest.
My week is a little crazy, so I need to stay focused and track everything. My main workouts need to be completed in the early a.m. or they will not get done! I know me!
M first Arbonne party was a success! Everyone ordered, my hostess was spoiled with free items, and 3 guests booked parties for May, June and July. Hoping to move the July one to June. Made calls when I got home and booked another party for June. Today I hope to book several for May, and after I get my trip planned to June to FL, I am going to reach out to friends there and try to book a party or two while I am there!
Tonight we meet with hospice for Bob's Mom. We would like to move her back into her assisted living apartment, and continue to provide the 24/7 care. She can't be left alone, but she would be so much happier back in her own place. Our only option is to put her on the hospice program; rules are rules. If that is what it takes, we will do it. We just won't tell her!
The nursing supervisor will lay down the rules for MIL and there will be no arguing with her!
This weekend is my youngest daughter's college graduation in Michigan. Her Dad is flying in from SC; in the spirit of kindness I offered to have him fly into Chicago and drive up with me. What was I thinking?
Before I ccould give him my schedule, he booked a flight that arrives late afternoon on Friday (rush hour) and that means I have to drive to Michigan Friday night. The graduation is Saturday morning at 9:00; no time to drive there in the a.m UGH!!! I am not a night time driver if I can avoid it, and my ex-husband is not a good driver. Not to mention he still has one hand that he severely injured a couple of months back, so NO...I will not have him driving! He also booked a flight back on Monday, again RUSH HOUR in Chicago, so I am now staying through Monday and then trying to leave with enough time to deal with the traffic back up to the airport.
In the spirit of "family" and "positive thinking", I bit my tongue and said "No problem; we'll work it out!" Because the ex is the ex - nothing has changed!
I am just going to have to find the humor in all of it; I'm sure it's there somewhere!
Now I need to figure out what I am going to wear! Not sure anything in my closet fits that would be appropriate, so I'll have to try on a few things today and if not, try to find something inexpensive to get me through!
Got my workout in this morning and need to get moving. I have to process the orders from Sunday's party, figure out my bills/budget and then start the regular work day. Meeting my up-line for a quick cup of coffee at noon!
to you all! Happy Tuesday!!
