Yesterday

Well, I did okay yesterday.... I could have been better, but I was pretty good. It was a long day at work, and when I got home I sort of just wanted to crash, but I knew I had things to do. I had to go buy groceries and go for a walk like I said that I would. When I first got home, I tried to sit down, but the dog wasn't having it. She wanted to go out and play. I went to the grocery store, bought the food I needed for the week, with a couple substitutions for things on sale. At that point, I had promised the dog that we would go for a walk, so I couldn't let her down. I told myself that I was going to walk for 30 minutes, so that's what I set out to do... In reality, it was probably closer to 28 minutes, but who's counting? I was feeling really lazy, so I sat on the couch and planned lessons on commericial breaks while watching tv. I totally meant for it to be an early night, but then my boyfriend called and wanted to talk... It was 11 pm by the time I went to bed, which meant I did not want to get up this morning. I still wish I could go back to bed because now that I'm at work it is shaping up to be a really stressful day... I hate being stressed out.

    "The best laid plans of mice and men" For the most part life gets in the way of things we plan. Take the time today to have some time for yourself. Take a walk with the dog and enjoy just being alive. It will releive some of the stress. When you can relax and enjoy yourself, even for 10 minutes, you can revitalize ourself.
