(One in a series of posts related to decisions we must make.)
To get to the point and not waste your time or mine, you must decide today whether you will take STEWARDSHIP of your life.
One definition of "steward" is "one who actively directs affairs".
Are YOU actively directing the affairs of your life?
Or are you playing the role of the HAPLESS VICTIM, sitting idly by while things happen?
Throwing your hands up and wailing "Woe is me! When will this change!? This is my lot in life! There's nothing I can do!"?
Expecting SOMEONE ELSE to rudder your life in the right direction?
NO ONE ELSE can rudder YOUR life.
We can suggest, advise and model but we CANNOT change your life for you.
That's YOUR responsibility.
It's time to start taking an active role in what happens to you each day.
It's unlikely you'll end up where you CLAIM you'd like to be if you are UNWILLING to get involved in the DAY-TO-DAY activities of your life.
Not everything about your life is within your direction and control.
But much of it is.
Decide today to take STEWARDSHIP of your life.
Decide today to ACTIVELY DIRECT your life's affairs.
You want things to be different?
You want things to change?
It's time to decide to be the steward of your life.
Make it a great day!
