I have realized that I need to start looking at the small successes that I have accomplished, instead of focusing on the slip ups.
I snacked really late last night, but I counted it all. It may not have been healthy choices, but I stayed within my calorie intake. Today will be a better day of healthy choices! I started out great with a strength work out for my arms and I have already completed 40 squats out of the 180 I am supposed to do today.
Yesterday, it was beautiful out (47 and sunny) so I went for a run. I was only going to do a 3 mile run, but I went 4. Since I ran my half marathon in October, I have only been doing 3 milers here and there, but I would like to get back into running further distances. I love running! Sometimes it really makes my body ache after, but it is such an awesome stress relief. And after I feel so good about myself!
We got more snow last night, so another snow day for me and some shoveling so I can go into the classroom and work on some lesson plans. I also plan on making some paper flowers for wedding decorations. My wedding dress came in yesterday and I cannot wait to see it. Hopefully, I can get in better shape so that it looks spectacular on me!
Looking good has always been a bug motivator for me to lose weight. Now I just want to get in shape. I feel so much better emotionally when I work out and eat healthy. Also, I want to be healthy so I can be there when I have kids and through out their childhood and adulthood.
