Paleo??

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

So I am trying out the Paleo food plan, the strict form, and then will probably add some dairy later....... I need to do something to get my diabetes under control and apparently this might help, even the dietician said it is ok, so its just, veggies, fruits (only 2 servings a day), meats, and nuts. Basically what was growing when we roamed the Earth as cave peeps.
Anyone else trying this or suceeding? Would LOVE to know.....
Thanks
J
Snack of fruits and nuts.... huh......

I considered it. But I'm a vegetarian. It won't work for me and I feel much better doing 'Eat to Live' (book by Joel Fuhrman). The book claims that eating in the 'nutritarian' way helps to reverse all sorts of diseases including diabetes. It could very well be true: my high blood pressure improved very rapidly when I started eating according to ETL.
There's an 'Eat to Live' team here at SP. One of the leaders of the team got her diabetes under control following Eat To Live.
