Winner Dixie had beef chuck buy 1 get one free. So tonight's dinner is a slow cooker roast, recipe from Martha Stewart. Simple recipe mix 1 Tb cornstarch and 2Tb water, pour into slow cooker. Peel and cut 8 carrots into thirds, cut 2 onions into quarters. Put into slow cooker season with salt and pepper stir well. **I used four carrots,one huge parsnip, 1 and a half onions and 2 small taters**
Sprinkle a 3 lb roast with salt and pepper, place on top of veggies, drizzle with 2 Tab Worcestershire sauce. Cover cook on high 6 hr low 10 hr.
Served with broccoli timbales, great use of broccoli bits and pieces. Eggs,half and half,nutmeg,parmesan,onions.
