Today's program from Spark Coach really spoke to me:

I have to remember this!!

Yesterday we had a houseful (15 plus a baby) for my son's birthday. It was very stressful for me but I think everyone had a good time. I planned my food for the day first thing in the morning so that I would be able to have dessert and stay in my range. It took some doing, but I stuck with the plan and was able to enjoy my cheesecake and not feel guilty. Actually, it felt pretty good. Of course, you can't always plan ahead. I have to make sure that is not my downfall.

    You did it. Yes, it's great to plan to have some higher
    calorie things and work them into our program.

    If we did this ALL THE TIME, just think where we would be?

    I think that it was awesome that you were able to plan ahead and then enjoy yourself. I find that when I plan ahead, I am able to "let go" more and there is less stress all around. Glad that you had a good time. Love you

    Enjoy the crowds while you can. We USED to have birthday parties with 30 people and Christmas dinner for 40. It was stressful but great memories. Now all are scattered and we travel to birthdays and are lucky to have 10 for Christmas dinner.
