Sunday morning I went to walk on the treadmill -- it would not turn on. It finally gave up the ghost. I knew this day would come as it has been dying. I am going to be looking to replace it someday.

Since it was nice I took a mile walk out on the Mitchell Canyon trail behind our house. Now that is starting to be better weather (though it is snowing now emoticon ), I am going to walk outside first thing in the morning.

This afternoon I worked on the wedding quilt. I finished the quilting in the center - now I can put it back on the frame and to the borders.

Daily Goals:
1) Blog -- emoticon
2) Exercise at least 50 minutes. emoticon 30 min
3) Eat at least 5 freggies a day emoticon 5 servings
4) Instead of eating something unhealthy today, I will.. read & quilt

    While the weather permits, I'm all for outside! Vitamin D, fresh air, peace & quiet, pretty sights. Beats the TV. I haven't tried much reading on the treadmill. Reading glasses, etc. but I know the treadmill has worked well for you, so I hope you can replace it before too long. So many people have home exercise equipment they bought with good intentions and bpnever used, maybe you can find a good deal.

    Quilt sounds great. Hope spring comes soon for you. Craig's list sounds good Do you have a local freecycle? Good for you to get in your walk. emoticon

    That is a bummer - Lois had a great suggestion to look on Craigslist. I'm not an outdoor girl, so really, I like working out in front of the t.v. - that way I can watch all those terrible shows that I might otherwise think are a waste of time emoticon

    Bummer on the treadmill! Maybe you can find a good deal on Craigslist. We found a really nice one for $100! But I'd always prefer walking outside when possible!
