Stray cat

Monday, April 22, 2013

This is the stray cat that has been hanging around our house. My husband has taken it a few miles away twice because he doesn't want it and its come back both times. I love it and wish I could keep it. Its very sweet and purs when I hold it. It rubs against my legs when I'm outside. One of my sons found out that its former owners lived in a apt in town and when they got evicted they abandoned the cat to live on the streets. Somehow it found its way to our house. It has sheltered in some play houses on our property in bad weather. In good weather it hangs around our porch. I love the cat, I wish my husband would let me keep it. emoticon

Praying with you toward that end. God has, many times, worked to change the heart of my husband. He can do the same for you. Hugs.

I was adopted by a stray cat and she's been with me for nearly 3 years now. I don't know how I'd manage without her. I do hope you can keep this one - it's a real beauty! and obviously likes you! :-)

You don't keep cats, they keep you. He has made his choice. Tell hubby to live with it. If it is outside most of the time he should not care. emoticon

I wish he would let you too! The same thing happened to one of my friends. They kept the cat, Annie, and she was the best thing that ever happened to them. Even her husband likes her now. I think she's good for you.

Would he let you keep it if it stayed outside?
You could put a shelter and just feed it on your porch.
My dad always said if cats could stay dry, it could get very cold and they will survive.
    And it's true!

    Good luck!
Maybe he'll change his mind and start to love the cat. emoticon
