well that crash you heard over the weekend was me falling COMPLETELY off the healthy eating plan. we were out of town for a church meeting, and they served so much food....including a pastry that i can NOT resist. (Genuine Danish Kringle...Wisconsin folks know what i'm talking about!) I did have extra raw veggies and the meat/veggies from my soup and left the noodles in the bowl. but compared to the sweets and the fats, those were token efforts. So today, Monday i am working the program again!
I realize part of the problem was a case of the "blahs' from our dreary rainy spring. today the sun is shining and everyone is in a much better mood! and I have had a lot on my plate at work. been doing pretty well thru it, but getting out of my routine, i fell into old habits.
at least now i know that one weekend of 'sinning' does not mean the end of the line. I can get back on track and will only lose a few days momentum. It is NOT the end of the world, just a temporary glitch!
that's one of the things SP has helped me learn.
there are bumps in the road, none of us does perfectly all the time. The key is to get back to my program, No beating myself up, no thinking "I've failed, no sense even trying any more..." Keep those negative thoughts away!
