And another reason to continue on the exercise path:
All sunblocked and dressed for outside and then tied up my sneakers. Ouch! The special blister bandage didn't help today. I created a blister yesterday completing what would have been a short route (out for an hour) back in the autumn. I've been slowly adding days, and distance BUT it's hard to get back on my regular routine. My feet no longer like my running shoes.

Consider a badge of accomplishment!!! Maybe it's time for some new exercise shoes or perhaps an insert inside your shoes to give you more comfort. Keep up the great work!

Ugh - hate blisters! Sometimes extra thick socks help cushion the blister - though sometimes a tight bandaid will make it reabsorb, too.

Sorry to hear about the blister problem. Puts the crimp in running! OR walking!

HUGS and hope it clears up quickly. Buggers!

emoticon blisters are so painful and a good reason to skip a run emoticon hope they heal soon. do you have a running store near you where they take the time to fit you feet and see which shoe is the one for you. and not just bring boxes of all types of shoes. We have one Called the running soul don't know what you want to pay for shoes . these they told us at the clinic start ad 69 dollars a pair.

Boo. REI has amazingly trained and knowledgeable employees. Perhaps that's a place to consider for your next pair of shoes. We got my son's backpack there -- it was a great experience.
