I restarted my sparkstreak for my sweet strike this week. I gave in for my birthday and ate some chocolate from my mother. Luckily, it didn't ruin me! In fact I still went down on the scale today. I split it up in small portions over 3 days and worked out quite a bit(for me anyway) and I'm still on track for my goals.
This is a major stepping stone for me, because before I would always overdo it on the sweets, and couldn't say no. But I did, and I'm still here on sparkpeople!
My goal is still to go a year without sweets, but I'm not going to start from scratch each time but instead just add a few more days on the end I need to go. Taking breaks is more doable for me, and hopefully that will make it more possible for a healthy lifestyle. Any advice on this for me? :)
