What do Boundaries look like, feel like, can I set them? Day 1 & 2
Monday, April 22, 2013
Book with 283 pages of study is about 7 per day for 6 weeks to be done by June 1...That should be do-able for a start at least...
Day 1 p13-20 tells the story of Sherrie's day...sounds a bit frantic but at first I could not see anything wrong with it...then after reading it again and the title of the chapter "Boundaryless day"...I began to see what my normal is may not be a healthy normal and that is the purpose of the book?
Day 2 The end of Sherrie's day begins to differ from my busy days in that i do not have issues with my DH...i am blessed that he does not use sarcasm or criticize me..I do not fear him and we do not fit the books pictures at all in this area.
>trying harder is not working
>taking responsibility for other's lives in circle of friends or acquaintances is NOT working
>Do I have trouble taking responsibility/ownership for my own life, health?
"Just as homeowners set boundaries or fences around their property, I NEED to set mental, physical , emotional and spiritual boundaries around my life" And this book presents Biblical view of boundaries for His people...that's me.
I love the color violet/purple...This is painting of Purple house by Michael Humphries - notice the picket fence..a boundary...sit and think about your boundaries in life and in food and in exercise...how are you doing with your lines?
