Starting out the week tired...

Monday, April 22, 2013

That's not a good indication of how the week will go. I was sick all last week. Had the sinus/earache/sore throat/cough thing again for the third time since January. Since we had prescription cough syrup at home I didn't go to the doc. I didn't in January or February either. Notices the symptoms were shorter and less severe this time. A week. I'm hoping that means I'm developing some kind of immunity to whatever this is.

Yesterday was our 41st anniversary. We celebrated this weekend by going to the Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner Saturday night then out to see "Olympus Has Fallen" (OML! Thought I'd have an anxiety attack before it was over with. Left us with lots of questions...). Then, just to keep the ball rolling, we went to breakfast yesterday morning and to see "Jurassic Park 3D." (Don't waste your money on that one unless you just want to see (or haven't ever SEEN it) on the big screen. That was fun to do.

Not stressing about the weight being up a lb. after all the eating out. I must admit, though, that I'm getting to where I really take comfort in my drab, non-eventful weeks. At least I tend to not be focused on food during that time.

You're probably still recovering from that bout of cold/flu/sinus so you may feel a bit run down this week. take things slowly. keep pushing the fluids. Don't try to do too much because you risk relapsing. this has happened to me plenty of times.

Happy Anniversary !!! 41 years. that's awesome !! It sounds like you and his lordship had a wonderful time. I haven't been to the movies since Lincoln and the Hobbit. Nothing has caught my attention. I do want to see the new version of the Great Gatsby. may even have to re-read the book before I go.

should have some good news to report by the end of the week.

    see ya
