30 Challenges for 30 days of growth - Day 17

Monday, April 22, 2013

Define one long-term goal and work on it for an hour every day

Break your goal down into bite-sized pieces and focus on achieving each one piece at a time. It really is all about taking baby steps, and taking the first step is often the hardest. Spend an hour every day for the next 30 days working toward something you’ve always wanted to accomplish. Take a small dream and make it a reality.

Long term goals are easy to forget. Right now that I have been giving myself a little "mental break" from tracking and aiming for my short term goals, long term goals are definitely on my mind a little more.

I've always wanted to feel well-rested. Does that mean I can justify sleeping and hour later every day? emoticon

This is a great way to set yourself up for a serious victory.

I don't know that I could devote an entire hour a day, but definitely worth devoting reasonable time to a long term goal and conquering it!
