Back to day 1---NO MORE DENIAL

I can't deny it any longer. I am back to day 1. My motivation has gone, and I will have to muster it back again. I dread even thinking of exercise. I don't know why I have gotten so lazy?? I have been walking 10 minutes, but I know that is no where enough. So what the heck? getting back on track can be hard, but I don't want to wait too long.

    I'm starting back at Day 1 today myself. *sigh* I was taking it easy trying to get back into it last month, but then that taking it easy became practically nothing. I've jumped back up in weight to 276 (that's 17 lbs back from the lowest I was recently). However, I know we can do this! My friend Amanda always says "Fake it until you make it." She doesn't mean be fake, but instead she means that for things you don't like doing (like exercise) pretend that you do like it until it becomes something you do like, or until you find something you do like. Keep up the fabulous work! I know you and I can do this together!

    Ten minutes is more than zero--I can't even tell you how many times I have returned to day one--Congratulations for making the commitment to start again--you are still working at it, so you haven't quit!!

    You can do this! Maybe it's time to sit down and really think of all the reasons you choose to do this in the first place. Often times we lose sight of the bigger picture! emoticon emoticon

    We all go through down times with our diets and exercise. Don't be too hard on yourself. Just do the best you can and if ten minutes is it then it's better than nothing! Maybe if you consistenly do 10 minutes a day you'll start to feel like you want to do 15 minutes, and then 20. Small changes do add up! Don't put pressure on yourself.

    Just my perspective, but it doesn't seem to me that you are back to day one -- still somewhere along your journey and it isn't the start because you've learned and made progress since day 1. You can do this! =)
