I thought long and hard about the job and asked an old coworker of mine who worked at this place and is leaving after 2 yrs. She made it sound like it's really not dependable money wise. I bit the bullet and emailed the girl I job shadowed and turned down the offer. It would have been fun if I had a husband who supported me that much with money and I could bring a little cash to the table. But I am not in that place and I enjoy bringing my fair share to the table. So I am gonna keep looking. There are a lot of things in life that don't come easy when looking for the right fit. Jobs are one of them for sure.

Food was not terrible over the weekend. I let myself have my two over 2000 days and then Sunday I go back to normal calories. That way I don't feel like I am tortmenting myself. I went running with Scott yesterday afternoon and when we were almost home we stopped at a little garden shop that's on the trail. We ran home and came with the car and got 2 mints and 3 tomato plants. I am gonna try Patio tomatoes this year along with the ones I will plant. I am so ready to start planting! Hopefully next weekend!

Ok so here is where I left off in my 365 days of photos.

Day 83: Home with where Patsy Pants Resides.

Day 84: So I am friends on facebook with this local rescue that goes into kill shelters and finds these pure bred dogs. So they posted this Jack Russell and I posted it to my facebook. My friend from Chicago who I met online like 10 yrs ago but never met her in person. She saw my post and she applied to get him. So Friday night she came from Chicago (3 hrs) and picked him up. It was the strangest day, between 2- 70 and 60 degree days, it snowed and hailed all day on and off. We had plans to go get ice cream cuz the place was outside and she wont have to leave him. We got ice cream in the snow lol

Day 85: Work shooting.

Day 86: Lox and Bagels for lunch.

Day 87: Saucy Hungarian Eggplant served on Saffron Rice. I purchase a simple Moosehead cookbook (I have one of their complicated ones too and you need a nap after the prep on each recipe lol). I am on a mission to work thru the book this warm weather cooking season, or maybe this yr lol Oh well one down!

About the job: sounds like it will be something there months, years or decades from now if you decide to go that route. Not a once or never type thing.

I agree. I'm glad I have my own income. I feel I can buy what I want without having to feel guilty that I am wasting my husband's money. I really don't waste money but he is even more frugal than I am.

We bought some plants on the weekend - perennial flowers but I need to get my beds ready. Add some of my homemade compost.

Patsy looks so cute on the porch. Your pets have adjusted so well to living there.

The jack russell is adorable. They are really fun dogs. My son's ex girlfriend had one. He was hilarious.

    The food was beautiful.

You made the right decision. Many years ago I took a job that paid on commision.
The route was not established and I soon quit.
You are at the top for blog writers and photographs. A clean, clear style that make a perfect duo.

That looks really good!!! YUM! :)

Don't worry about the job. Something will turn up. I know it's very hard for artists to find steady work, and it's so frustrating! And yes, you are an artist. Every photo you post is pure art. :)
