There is a story about a dog who refused to be trained. He was more stubborn than stubborn. His owner was consumed with finding a way to live in peace and harmony with this dog. The owner had a small dog but it could jump to high heaven and loved showing off. This was the answer! He ran and got the box of treats and whenever the dog jumped the owner said "Jump" and gave the dog a treat. Oh bliss that crazy dog ffffinally began doing something it was told to do. After learning that command, training of the more "mundane" things could begin.

That story made me think of how I've struggled with goals. I started Sparks last October, was totally overwhelmed and quit. Then gained 10 pounds and started coming back to the site in January. I felt like every time I'd try a new goal something inside just dug in its heels and said "No" . But I think I found my "jump". I just got a pedometer and am having a blast counting steps.

    I agree with MIATIA1 we all have to find something that works for us. For me it was a fitbit. emoticon
