Saturday I surprised myself with how much I accomplished. I tanned again and came home and lost a pound for ninety four down and dressed up in those size eight capris. Then I took Zack to my boss' garage sale and to hike. He started out wanting to go on the hardest trail but I took him to Mixmaster and he wimped out a quarter thru with a headache. I went ahead to the big bridge to at least get in forty minutes and really enjoyed it. Then I did the first layer of clearcoat to the den walls and gave him a break by mowing the yard that was totally full of weeds. More than grass. Now we have to weed and feed and put bug killer all around the house.
After I mowed, I sent Zack for ours and mom's groceries and went straight in to putting the second coat of clearcoat on the walls. Barely got started and Ron came home. When he supervises me, I always feel like he's noting everything I'm doing wrong but he seemed pleased and it actually has the desired finish and undesired fumes now. Then I showered and had to catch up with the meals I kept forgetting to eat and we watched a movie while I sorted the clothes piles from my room. At the cabin, he also did clearcoating to the outside, got the push mower running, mowed, put out grass seed cuz they were out of the sod, and moved the camp trailer farther back. Both of the cherry trees died but the seeds from mom''s tree that NO ONE can identify seem to be making something. I'm still getting tons of mushrooms in the terrarium that die and are replaced daily.
Sunday we had an awesome day for mom's ninetieth birthday. We had twenty nine people in the self timer pic my nephew took with the tripod in the truckbed. Made a really neat effect. There were tons of kids and tons of relatives and my ICU niece made it!!! It was fantastic! It was also nice to see the young men holding the infants and giving the moms a break. The only sad thing was my heel broke off within ten minutes of getting there so I had to go barefoot and it messed up the image I was trying to present. Haha. My niece sang an amazing rendition accapella of Young At Heart and when she was thru and gave Mom a hug, Mom forgot she was hoding a drink and poured it all over her. I was able to keep the tears from my eyes while she was singing but they were streaming out of both eyes while we all laughed our heads off. I was mainly laughing cuz I got it all on video. Poor Ron got confused and I think he might have been pouting for awhile. The party was 2 to 430 so of course we were there til close to 6. I had asked him around noon when he was asking about lunch if he would want to eat something from the house then and me take everyone out to eat for dinner after the party and he just kept saying he couldn't wait that long so I asked if we were just going to eat something from home, he said yes, and we did. Then around 4 he starts saying he's looking forward to steak. Well you saw that I already ate. You'll have to take yourself, I guess. Ratz. He got over it pretty quick tho.
