3 of my grandchildren celebrated their birthdays today. Their birthdays are each 4 days apart. I was able to enjoy being with 4 of my 5 children and 9 of my 11 grandchildren. The celebration was at my son's house.
I hadn't had a chance to eat lunch before going to the party. (I had eaten breakfast, gone to Church, stopped at the office and given my story at a healing service earlier in the day.)
Generally, there are fresh veggies, fruit, and a Mexican bean and cheese dip with Tortilla Chips, cake and ice cream and ice tea.
I was quite surprised that NONE of these were there this year! Instead there was soda, potato chips, cake, ice cream and pretzels.
As I was hungry, I partook in what was available.
