Kicked the sugar habit!!

So I have some exciting news! I have kicked my sugar habit! I cannot believe how quickly I was able to accomplish this. I discovered it when I needed just a little something to eat and all we had that I found acceptable was store-bought beef jerky. (We make our own, but we were out.) We bought the stuff with the lowest sugar count and I couldn't stand it because I could taste the sugar in it and it was too sweet for me! I gave it to hubby and told him he could have it, and when I told him why, he was shocked! LOL I can't believe this happened already and it hasn't even been a week since I started Paleo! This is awesome!
So as far as the "carb flu" it's mostly over. I'm confident that I can return to Zumba on Tuesday. I'm really excited about it because I've missed it, even though it was just for a short period of time. I've also noticed my energy levels going up as well, and the cheese cravings are going away. I can't believe all this happened in such a short period of time!
I've also been dropping pounds like no tomorrow. My first goal is to reach 199 by June 1st. At this rate, I'm going to reach it at the end of the month! LOL (Not that I'm complaining!) It feels awesome to be losing weight like this again! In fact, I bumped into a friend yesterday and she said she can tell I've lost weight! Woohoo!
