Low carb detox day 3

Sunday, April 21, 2013

While I have been very tempted to get a pepsi, so far I haven't! I've been consistent in drinking my 10 cups of water a day and before this pffft what was water?! The sick feeling isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be but then again I have a cold (same one for 4 weeks) so I can just blame feeling miserable on it instead of actually detoxing from a body full of sugar! Again yesterday I did not meet my calorie goals. I was under by a ton. I just don't eat that much so I have no idea what to do to get the calories up. On this detox I cannot have fruit yet so a smoothy is out of the question. I just don't know. Hopefully I'm still able to lose even though I'm falling so short on calories!

Mady- It's actually not that I've been eating unhealthy foods high in calories. I am eating the same as I always do except I haven't had bread or starch. I cut out the pop and the pop was using up all my calories before. I mean yes, there were days I would go to burger king or something like that but only like once a month. So now that I'm not drinking that soda I fall way below my calorie range. A typical day for me would be my food being about 600 calories for the day and the soda being over 1,000. If I had to estimate I would say I was drinking over 10 cans a day.

Nicki, juide your veggies and make smoothies out of them, just add lemon, kale, carrots, zuchinni.. anything goes! You need to get your self eating a normal range of calories. Im afraid your body will crash. The reason why you cant eat so much is because you are used to eating unhealthy food, which are small amounts, but high in calories. I hope that helps!

We are supposed to be doing it for 7 days. A friend and I are doing it. I do not know what her plan is after that. I'm just doing what she tells me to do at this point since nothing else has helped. haha
