Cold...

Sunday, April 21, 2013

I'm really not a weather complainer but this spring has really frustrated me. It's hard to want to walk outside when it's snowing, raining or just simply cold. Fortunately I have a small gym in my building that has some bikes, treadmills and ellipticals. I just really dislike looking at a wall while I workout.

I live about a block from Lake Michigan and this morning I went out to walk and the wind just cut through even my walking gear (the stuff that is super thin so you don't have to wear a million layers). I was thinking about just turning around and going back inside. Something told me to give it five minutes. And I kept going. The wind ended up rejuvenating me a bit and kept me going (and Jay-Z in my ears). I guess I can deal with this a little longer but some sun would be nice!

emoticon You could have stayed in bed but you didn't.

emoticon You could have stayed home to eat lots and lots of food. You didn't.

emoticon You could have watched a movie and laughed and cried. You didn't.

Instead you were rejuvenated by the wind as you continued walking . emoticon

emoticon Life is good and someday Spring will be here or maybe Summer will just settle in. Whatever, I agree with you. Great that you persevered. emoticon
